The Kallang-Lavender area is probably among the best places in Singapore to get decent hotels rooms that are central enough yet are not crazy high-priced. At just 2 to 3 MRT stops away from City Hall, the hotels are reasonably priced for your afternoon lunch-time or evening after-work romp without arousing suspicions from your colleagues you've been out for some naughty and sexy fun times!

Bugis
If you're ever caught in the area, a convenient excuse of visiting nearby Haji Lane for the sights and sounds and heritage trail can always come in handy and if you're the more studious type, visiting the National Library can always be another great excuse. If you're into the heartlands, nothing really beats Jurong. Grocery shopping or simply visiting the many malls of Jurong serve as convenient excuses to be there.
